High Potency CBD For Better Health
CBD (short for ‘Cannabidiol’) is a compound found in Cannabis Sativa, (which is otherwise known as Industrial Hemp) and should not be confused with Cannabis Indica strains that are typically used as recreational drugs. Industrial Hemp has NO psychoactive activity and is legal to possess and use in the UK.
CBD has ZERO “psychoactive” effects. The compound in Cannabis that causes the infamous ‘high’ is known as THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Isolate CBD comes from Cannabis Sativa plants which contain trace or tiny amounts of THC. The CBD extraction process removes any traces of THC and each batch of Isolate CBD is tested by third party laboratory for purity and potency. The tests also reveal if any THC is present.
Although CBD can be derived from hemp and neither oils have psychoactive effects, CBD and hemp oils are made from different parts of the plant and have different purposes. CBD is the short form of the term cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a natural component of industrial cannabis or hemp. CBD oil has a significant content of cannabidiol. It is made from the flowers, leaves and stalks of hemp and not from its seeds like hemp oil.
ISOLATE™ is produced by first extracting CBD from the Hemp. Large quantities of Hemp are required to produce appreciable amounts of CBD. The CBD is then certified for potency and purity before being blended with small amounts of organic hemp oil and MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides derived from Coconut) which are carrier oils used to promote the absorption of CBD in the body. The CBD isolate dissolves in the oils and then a special blend of pure, potent plant terpenes are added to give the final product what is known as ‘the Entourage Effect’.
At Isolate Botanicals, we control the entire production process ensuring that our CBD is tested and certificated by an independent laboratory to ensure the potency and purity. We use only the best quality ingredients including powerful, natural plant terpenes found in the cannabis plant to ensure maximum potency.
CBD can be ingested orally (as with CBD Isolate) and it can also be ingested through vaping. Taking CBD orally (sub-lingual – i.e. dropped on the tongue) is a quick, easy and very convenient method. When taken orally, it can take up to an hour before the full effects are felt and these tend to last for 6-8 hours. Vaping, on the other hand, has a virtual instant effect because the CBD passes into the bloodstream very quickly, however the effects of vaping do not last as long (2-3 hours).
Yes. CBD is safe for children and adults.
CBD, like any substance, may interact with the actions of pharmaceutical drugs. For this reason, we highly recommend that, if you are taking ANY medications or suffering from any medical condition, you consult with your GP or health practitioner BEFORE taking any supplement (including CBD) or indeed making ANY changes to your diet and lifestyle.
ISOLATE CBD oils are taken sub-lingually by putting drops on the tongue. This is a good way to get CBD into your body. It can take anything from 10 minutes to a few hours before you start to notice the effects. ISOVAPE products are vaping e-liquids. The inhaled vapour acts instantly although the effects are shorter lasting. Also, the amount of CBD inhaled is much smaller than can be ingested sub-lingually. Some people like to vape during the day as they can manage their CBD intake and some want to experience the virtually instant effects. Others choose to vape as a way to ‘top up’ the oral dose, or simply because they enjoy the vaping experience.
